Today we are enjoying a beautiful rainy day in Tucson and it is divine!
We are sending blessings to all our clients as we all welcome the Fall and move into school activities and folks coming back who’ve flown Arizona’s heat.
There seems to be an uptick in Gastro-intestinal problems as well as allergies this last month. The rains make a lot of us sneeze and here at WellnessFirst we recommend gentle remedies like HomeoLabs “Real Allergy Relief” a nice chewable you can take daily as well as my famous Voodoo Juice recipe if you are really feeling under the weather.
- 8 cups of water
- 1 cup organic lemon juice
- 6-8 cloves minced or crushed fresh garlic
- 3-4 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
- 4-5 dashes of powdered cayenne pepper
Simmer with lid on for 10 minutes, strain and drink a cup every 1-2 hours. You can add honey or maple syrup to taste. Try to drink all 9 cups of fluid in 1 day, the next day you’ll feel 100% better!
In addition, it’s been a month of loss for those dear to me and we want to honor those who have transitioned on to the next realm. We know all our prayers help those here and there. As a shamanic practitioner I offer up ceremonies for helping those who have lost a loved one (human or otherwise) as well as for helping the dead pass on. Please contact me directly if you have any questions about this. (520-668-0039)
