With more than 19 years of experience, Norma Poplin-Redhouse continues to find facilitating others in their healing process to be a fascinating blessing. Licensed in two states, Norma trained at the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy (now Southeastern Institute). On graduating, lead instructor and school owner Michael Elkins took Norma into his private practice for further mentoring in Neuromuscular Therapy. During this time, Norma worked on many kinds of clients, from office workers to professional and amateur athletes.

After many years of helping people with structural bodywork, Norma decided to pursue further training to address the energetic and psychological components of how people hold tissue dysfunction in their bodies. To that end, she completed two separate 3-year programs, one in energetic bodywork, and the other in attachment theory and body-centered psychology. Norma’s work is further informed by her history with dance, yoga, and equine-assisted learning.
Since each person’s style of healing is very different, Norma very much enjoys getting to know each client and designing a treatment specifically for their set of circumstance.
