Chronic Pain
Natural Pain Relief and Pain Management for Chronic Pain
Recognizing that chronic pain is a problem is the first step in finding treatment. Once you understand that the pain isn’t going away, its time to look at options toward curing the cause of that pain.
Here, we’ll show a few natural pain relief options that are proven effective and permanent as well as being available here at Transformational Medicine.
First: Trigger points are a special type of tender area within the muscle. Prolozone can be used to relieve pain in these areas. Most often, trigger points are found in people with specific conditions such as:
- fibromyalgia
- chronic pelvic pain
- myofascial pain syndrome
Prolozone works on just about any pain problem you might have, including: neck pain, whiplash, degenerated or herniated discs, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, torn tendons, sciatica, heel spurs, neuromas, tennis elbow, rotator cuff tears, knee injuries and virtually any other sports injury. Because Prolozone treatments also result in cartilage regeneration, the technique is also remarkably effective even for severe cases of osteo arthritis of the hip or knee. Prolozone Injections may be used as an adjunct for chronic as well as acute pains where tears in tendons or ligaments have occurred, as Prolozone creates a permanent fix.
Second: Myofascial Release may be used to open adhesions and release restrictions which also allows Prolozone injections to work better and in many cases, works instead of Prolozone injections. Myofascial Release allows for compressed joints to be freed and opened, allows limited mobility to be improved as well as eliminating pain. Once restrictions are released using myofascial release, exercise becomes important for treating chronic pain because it helps:
- strengthen muscles
- increase joint mobility
- improve sleep
- release endorphins
- reduce overall pain
Third: Inflammation is a major contributor to body aches and pains and is most often caused by the foods you eat. When getting healthy, eliminating inflammatory foods and adding exercise along with body work will alleviate a great portion, if not all, of the pain and limited mobility you are experiencing. FAQ Natural Pain Relief
What is the best natural pain reliever?
This depends upon the individual. Some rely on medications in which case I believe aspirin is the first level as its made from willow bark and is plant based. It’s a natural pain analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Just takes 2, not a whole bottle IF you are able to take aspirin. For others its CBD oils. For some its merely becoming hydrated as dehydration causes great pain, headaches, muscles soreness, constipation etc. We also carry an item called “T Relief” which is a great pain reliever. These tend to provide temporary relief. When you follow up with a body worker you normally find that myofascial release, or massages may permanently alleviate that pain. When a joint is ‘bone on bone’, often times Prolozone is a great and affordable start providing relief and freedom of movement. Look at your diet too, as often the causes are inflammation causing foods which make joints ache and muscles hurt, causes headaches etc. Eliminate those foods and your also start healing those areas.
How can I relieve joint pain naturally?
Again, as stated above, Aspirin, CBD, hydration, stretching, myofascial release can decrease the compression of a joint and reducing inflammation helps greatly. Eliminate inflammation causing foods from your diet will help. Understanding excess weight causes most knee, ankle and hip joint pain, taking the time to change how you eat and adding exercise will also heal the problems.
How do you stop pain receptors naturally?
Feel good sensations override pain sensations. If you provide a feel good stroking or tapping etc, the feel good sensations will shut down pain receptors. Massage often provides relief from pain, at least temporarily, as it feels good which shuts down pain receptors. Follow up with the appropriate next step to eliminate pain, such as diet changes, hydration increase etc.
How can I control my pain without medication?
Loaded question. Could write an entire book on how to control pain without medications but it would mean lifestyle changes as well and changes in emotional attachment as well as letting go of traumas. So, the easy way is to stretch, stay hydrated, eat healthy foods that are not inflammatory, exercise, and still stay hydrated.
What vitamins help joint pain?
Joints can be in pain from many causes. There is no one answer for this question.
What is the best vitamin for stiff joints?
The best thing for stiff joints is water, stretching and relieving inflammation. Vitamins will depend on what your body is lacking and that requires lab tests to determine.
