WELL CHILD VISIT

Regular well checks to the doctor are an important part of monitoring the healthy growth and development of children. At Transformational Medicine, we believe regular well child checks are a vital component in your child’s healthcare. Each visit will be 30-45 minutes in length. In these visits, we focus on monitoring growth and development, optimizing your child’s health and preventing disease. During each visit there is also time for parents to ask questions and get extra support with breastfeeding, nutrition, toilet training, changes in sleep and much much more.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the following well child check up schedule.

• Newborn
• 3-7 days of life
• 2 weeks
• 2,4,6,9 months
• 12, 15, 18 months
• Then annually after that.

ACUTE VISIT

Naturopathic medicine and its modalities are extremely effective in treating many acute childhood illnesses.

Once you become an established patient, children and adolescents can come in for the same-day acute visit. Some common same day ailments may include: ear infections, stomach aches, cough, sore throat, etc.
